As Astro Thoughts provide many different services, and as schools/organisations often choose a mix, the current fees are listed below with a handy calculator. Once your requirements are received and we’ve had a chat, you’ll receive the estimated cost of the visit. An invoice will be raised upon completion of the visit for payment within 28 days. Preferred payment method is by bank transfer.
Fees per service (2026)
Workshops £50.00 per hour
Inclusive of consumable materials and presenter. Workshops are typically of 1 hours duration.
Planetarium Sessions £100.00 per hour
Based on time inflated on premises and inclusive of presenter.
Guided Stargazing £30.00 per hour
One or more telescopes of larger aperture (200mm) are provided.
Return Travel £0.45 per mile
Mileage from Bath (BA2 2) to the venue and back is chargeable at HMRC rates.
